Native American Prayer for Peace
O Great Spirit of our Ancestors,
I raise my pipe to you.
To your messengers the four winds,
and to Mother Earth who provides for your children.
Give us the wisdom to teach our children
to love, to respect, and to be kind to each other
so that we may grow with peace in mind.
Let us learn to share all good things that
you provide for us on this Earth.
Christian Prayer for Peace
Blessed are the Peacemakers,
for they shall be known as
the children of God
But I say to you that hear:
Love your enemies,
do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you,
pray for those who abuse you.
To those who strike you on the cheek,
offer the other also,
and from those who take away your cloak,
do not withhold your coat as well.
Give to everyone who begs from you,
and of those who take away your goods,
do not ask them again.
And as you wish that others would do to you,
so do to them.
We are invited to pray for peace every day at noon, use the link above to read the prayer in moore than 40 languages.
Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, fait.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master.
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console,
to be understood, as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we recieve.
It is in pardonning that we are pardonned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Christian prayer (Isaiah 2:4)
He shall judge between nations,
and shall decide for many peoples,
and they shall beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks,

neither shall they learn any moore.

In the name of Allah,
the beneficent, the merciful.

If the enemy incline towards peace, do thou also incline towards peace,
and trust God, for the Lord is the one that heareth and knoweth all things.
And the servants of God,
Most Gracious are those who walk on the Earth in humility,
and when we address them,
May we see the day when war and bloodshed cease
when a great peace will embrace the whole world.
Then nation shall not threaten nation
and humankind will not again know war.
for all who live on earth shall realize
we have not come into being to hate or destroy
We have come into being
to praise, to labour and to love.
compassionate God, bless all the leaders of all nations
with the power of compassion.

"I will bring peace to the land,
and you shall lie down and no one shall terrify you.

Let peace fill the Earth as the waters fill the sea.

Native African Prayer for Peace
Almighty God, the Great
Thumb we cannot evade to
tie any knot
the roaring thunder that splits mighty trees
the all-seeing Lord up on high
who sees even the footprints of an antelope on a rockmass here on Earth.
You are the one who does not hesitate to respond to our call.
You are the cornerstone of peace.
